Sale-A-Bration is coming to an end next week and I wanted to ink the flower from the Amazing You stamp set. (I had only used the sentiments so far.) I found a sketch I thought would pair well with it in Try Stampin' on Tuesday #360. I paired this stamp set with the Naturally Eclectic Designer Series Paper.
I was looking through my dies for the Lots of Labels Framelits and I stumbled onto a few more sets that I thought I could incorporate into my design. Flourish worked well for the border in lieu of the banner on the sketch, and the Eclectic Layers Thinlits allowed me to add debossed leaves to the Soft Sky patterned paper for a bit of interest. I also used the Tu es formidable Thinlits (French version of Amazing You) for the sentiment. I die-cut the word "together" once out of patterned paper and twice out of Emerald Envy cardstock, making sure to place adhesive sheets on the back of my pieces before die-cutting, which allowed me to stack the three die-cuts easily to give my word a little boost.
The flower was stamped in VersaMark on watercolor paper, embossed in copper powder and watercolored with inks. Glitter enamel dots were added to the label, and pearls to the die-cut border. I like the result - something a little more eclectic than my usual creations!
