One of my favorite Nestabilities set is the Deckled Rectangles one. The only downside is that they're fairly small, and the largest of the set will not accomodate larger images. It's too bad because I love the vintage photograph look they have, and so I got very excited when I spotted the Stacked Deckle Rectangles dies from Tim Holtz in the Spring release. I knew I would purchase those the second they came out. This is my first creation with them, and the deckled rectangles were the starting point of my card. I thought they would pair great with Edna Loves the Ocean because she herself looks a little vintage in her retro bathing suit. I looked through my paper pads and found Boardwalk from Bo Bunny, which had the right mix of vintage and beachy to go with Edna.
When came time to add the sentiment, I saw "You are amazing" in our SAB offering, which would have worked great with the image, but to make the card more generic, I stamped "I hope you have an awesome day" instad. The stamp set I used is Happy Wishes, which is not meant to pair with the Celebrate You Thinlits per se, but as you can see, it does nonetheless. When it comes to sentiments, Sale-A-Brationr really delivered this year, and I know I'll keep pulling out those sentiments long after they have retired.
