Inspiration: Try Stampin' on Tuesday #356 and TGIF #147 (Sale-A-Bration Inspiration - I used the new Basket Weave embossing folder and the Springtime Foil papers)
These cards came together quite easily. I had this colour combo in my head that I wanted to try and I figured it would look nice paired with the Colorful Seasons bundle. The Basket Weave embossing folder could tie in with the texture of the chair, and the copper polka dot paper from the newly added SAB freebie Springtime Foils Specialty Designer Series Paper worked well with my color combo. I even thought about adding the Calypso Coral ribbon from the SAB ribbon pack, but it was a little wide and after trying the Calypso Coral 1/4" Ombre Ribbon, I just liked the ombre one better, both because of the size and because the color was more subtle. I will admit that the ombre is not always easy to work into designs, but in this case, it looked gorgeous so I went for it.
The large scallops are from a die included in the Seasonal Layers Thinlits set. I couldn't decide which of the sentiments from the set would work better, so I decided to try then both. One says "Life is beautiful!" and the other says "May all of your seasons be filled with happiness." Subtles enamel shapes in matching colors were added to finish off the design.
