The starting point for this card was the CAS Colours & Sketch #261, Global Design Project #127 and a sneak peek picture on Erica Cerwin's blog. I liked the framed peacock and the glitter dots on its tail, so it became the stasrting point of my own card. I made a square frame using two Stitched Shapes square dies, and embossed the sentiment on a strip of cardstock, which fit the sketch perfectly.
I wanted to jazz up the background so I stamped the Sheet Music background stamp and used the Ruffles embossing folder over it. I then added flourishes embossed in silver in the top corner, and a ribbon.
After assembling my card, I decided to add Clear Wink of Stella on the peacock and the frame. My brush was running a little dry so I pressed on the barrel to fill the brush with more liquid. And a big drip fell on my card! The worst part is that this is the SECOND time I do this - it's time I learn not to press the barrel over my project!! To hide my boo-boo, i added other drips here and there, and then decided to add sequins as well.
