I bought the RAWR stamp set and dies the second it came out because I thought it was so adorable. It took me until now to get something done with it, though, because I've seen many amazing projects done with it and I felt like all the ideas I had were very similar. Today, I finally flashed on something unique I could make with it.
I spotted the little dinosaur-clad boy from the Costume Party stamp set and thought HE could be paired with the dinosaur from Rawr. What a boy wouldn't do to win the heart of a girl he fancies, right? I pulled out colours and a sketch from past challenges, but also drew inspiration from Lawn Fawnatics #22 (get inky) and from the Stamp Ink Paper tic-tac-toe grid challenge #137. Initially, my thought was to have the little boy hold a heart. But I already had lace (from the Lacy Borders) and woodgrain with the Stitched Woodgrain Backdrop, so when I saw that flowers would finish up a line, I thought, let's have him hold a bouquet! I didn't think I had one the right size but I went looking through my sets, and this is what I love about Lawn Fawn sets and how well they coordinate: I was able to create a bouquet by using the upside down party hat from Wild for You and the flowers that go in the bike basket from Bicycle Build for You. Doesn't it work perfectly?
I wanted a French sentiment, so I went hunting again and found "Perfect in Every Way" in an old Project Life stamp set from Stampin' Up! Considering how galant the little dude is being, I thought that was a good fit.
Because of my recent clean-up, I remembered I had glimmer brads in my accessories that would work well, so I pulled two red ones.
