After I finished my last scrapbook layout, I used the same papers to make a card. The starting point was a die-cut from one of the sheets with the typewriter, which I paired with the Freshly Made Sketch #323. The sentiment reads, "Here's a good reason to celebrate your birthday longer: my late wishes." I used Wild Honey Distress Oxide ink to ink the edges of the Apothecary Accents die-cut, and I embossed my sentiment with clear powder after stamping it with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink. (Took advantage of the fact that this ink is a cross between pigment ink and waterbased ink to add embossing.)
Because of the size of the die-cut, I went bigger on the card: I used a 4*1/4" x 5-1/2" Stitched Rectangle Stackables die from Lawn Fawn to cut the background paper and made a card base measuring 4-1/2" x 5-3/4", with an envelope to size made with the Envelope Punch Board. This would make a great masculine card.
