Today I'm sharing something quick and simple. Based on the Freshly Made Sketch #324 and the Global Design Project #125, I've put together this simple card that showcases the Epic Celebrations stamp set offered during Sale-A-Bration. I embossed my background with the Brickwall embossing folder to keep with the cool vibe, and stamped one of the sentiments repeatedly to mimick graffiti. For the main circle, I wanted a starburst. I don't own the Starburst punch we currently carry, but I pulled out the retired Starburst Framelits and picked the closest size to recreate the look. I die-cut it out of Champagne Foil paper, and layered a Daffodil Delight circle over it. The guitar was colored with Stampin' Blends (the closest colours I could find, so Cherry Cobbler instead of Melon Mambo and Night of Navy instead of Dapper Denim). A bit of Clear Wink of Stella was added over the strings.
The finished card seemed a little bare, so I added two buttons from the True Gentleman pack, one of which I threaded with a very slim strip of Daffodil Delight cardstock. (Remember that trick when you don't have thread or floss in the right colour.)
