I had been wanting to try out the eclipse technique for a while and finally got inspired to include it on a card using the word Noël. I used the Large Letters Framelits, and as their name implies, the letters are quite large so I had to use a word with a limited amount of letters. French words tend to be long, so Noël was a good option. What's exciting is that the Framelits set includes the punctuation as well, so I was easily able to add the two dots on the E. I used the Night in Bethlehem stamp set to create my scene, and the beautiful colour combo was inspired by Create with Connie and Mary #489. The scene with the letters was so large, I had to make a 4-1/2" x 6" card and keep the layout quite simple. I only added a narrow ribbon and stamped the top of the card with the stitch image from Christmas Quilt.
