I think the beautiful Detailed Gate Thinlits might tend to get overlooked because they are part of the Halloween section of the Holidays catalogue. The samples show a graveyard gate, but it can be so much more than that. I thought it would look great decorated with a wreath and while trying to think of a set that had one, I remembered the Brightly Lit Christmas set and matching Framelits. As I was working on stamping and die-cutting the wreath, I decided to do red bows from the same set as well and then thought it would be a great opportunity to make a card where the gate unfolds to reveal the inside of the card.
I decided to stamp my Real Red cardstock with the Sheet Music background stamp, and then got inspired to add the lampost inside so that it would peak over the gate. I used the die-cuts, making sure to add Clear Wink of Stella to my Crushed Curry cardstock used for the inside of the lights, and I hung a banner with a sentiment from the side of the post, which was perfect since I did not have a sentiment on the front.
