Today's card was inspired by Can You Case It #132, Hand Stamped Sentiments #244 and Paper Players #307. The lightbulb theme made me think of the Pun Intended hostess set. I had wanted to use the lightbulb image ever since I've received this stamp set. The French sentiment that goes with it is cute, it says "Not my brightest moment..." I wanted this to be an apology card, so I looked at my other sets to see if I had "sorry" in any of them, and the Here For You stamp set did. It was actually a longer sentiment, but I inked only the first word and used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to place it right above the other sentiment. The size is actually just perfect! And the script font adds interest to the look of the sentiment.
The Old Olive cardstock strip was inked with one of the new stencils that will be out in the upcoming Holidays catalogue. It's a four stencils set called Seasonal Decorative Masks. I'll draw attention to one detail that had eluded me when I ordered this item: the stencils measure 6" x 6" (unlike our other stencils sold in the annual catalogue, which measure 8½" x 8½"). I was a little surprised when I opened my order box, but that was my own fault for not reading the description and just assuming it was the same size as before. I figured I might not be the only one who skims over details so I thought I'd share.
I'm also sharing the back of the card so you can see the new Angel Policy stamp set called I Stamped This, designed to stamp the back of your cards.Find out more about this set in my post HERE.
