How about a break from the Christmas creations with a summery card? This week's Paper Players challenge #309 was Something Sweet and Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge was Summer Fun and after going through my stash while stamping yesterday, I found some pretty Poolside chipboard images from Crate Paper that I put aside to use on something, and the ice cream truck seemed perfect for this challenge. I paired it with the Retro Sketch #228 for design. I bought the chipboard alone when I got them because the matching papers didn't appeal to me that much, so I looked for other papers that could work with the chipboard image and found the Summertime collection from October Afternoon. The rest of the design is pretty straightforward. I used a sticker die-cut at the bottom that was included in the October Afternoon paper kit to add my sentiment, which was stamped with the retired Remembering Your Birthday stamp set.
