I'm not usually one for flowers all that much, but I will admit that I was taken with the Affectionately Yours suite. I had gotten the Affectionately Yours Designer Paper during the pre-order, and I was debating whether to get the matching stamp set (Love & Affection) when the catalogue launched. I like the modern outlined flowers but what really sold me on the set were the French sentiments, which are totally different from what I already have on hand. I picked my favorite one for this card: "If you didn't exist, we would have to invent you."
The simple layout was inspired by CAS(E) This Sketch #180 and as I was assembling the card, I decided to fold the paper corner over to show the underside, for added interest, and I stamped an image of the set on the card base as well. Copper Stampin' Emboss powder was used to emboss the sentiment and the flower and leave images.
