This week's ColourQ combo (challenge #342) looked absolutely fabulous, so the first thing I did when I sat down to stamp was pull out the cardstock colours and look at my stamps to see what would suit it well. I spotted the new Swirly Bird stamp set and thought I could pair the cute boat with this colour combo. Father's Day is coming up, so that was the theme I had in mind for this card. There's a touch of pink but I thought by keeping it minimal and having the other masculine colours (deep orange and blue), that would still work. The design was inspired by Mojo Monday #448.
All of the supplies are from Stampin' Up!, except the cording trim that I had sitting on my desk and that I thought suited the nautical theme well.
