Someone who's very deserving of a real greeting card has a birthday coming up so I wanted to put together a special card just for her. The stamp set That Thing you Did will unfortunately be retiring at the end of the catalogue period in May, so I decided to pull it out for my card and I paired it with the Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper and the matching Framelits. The first part of the sentiment was embossed in white on printed vellum (from Sale-A-Bration) and the second half was embossed in black on a piece of patterned paper. I die-cut the bottom using the vine Edgelits die and folded it in half to show the yellow part with the embossed sentiment. A matching envelope was created using the Envelope Punch Board.
Retiring items showcased:
- That Thing You Did Stamp Set
- Botanical Blooms Stamp Set
- Botanical Gardens Designer Series Paper
- 2015-2017 In Color Blossom Accents
- Mini Silver Brads
- Botanical Builder Framelits Dies
- Black Stampin' Emboss Powder

Cindy, I LOVE this card. Amazing detail with the flower and using the Designer Series Paper with the diagonal cut. The embossing of the sentiment on the vellum is lovely along with the pearl details. Thanks for playing along with the Paper Craft Crew. ~Pam, DT
