These are some of my favorites pictures with my niece. A lot of them are slightly out of focus but it does not really matter because they capture our joy and the bond we have together. To embellish my inserts, I used the Santa & Co. collection from Simple Stories, which I am totally in love with, Everything made with this collection just turn out sooo cute.
Some of the gold stickers I used to embellish the inserts are from the Hello December 2015 Project Life Accessory Pack. I also used one of the transparent overlays on my journaling insert (the vanilla flourishes) and a few red sequins.
I've added a close-up of one of the inserts because I wanted to show you how I've used one of the Memories in the Making Specialty Cards overlay (a kit that you can receive as a free gift during the Sale-A-Bration promotion. Some of the overlays have metallic foil details on them and the neat thing is that one side is gold and the backside is silver! Here, I used a funky frame over my picture, silver side up. The overlay is 6" x 4" and was silver all the way to the edges, but to add a bit of color, I cut the edges off and added the overlay over a piece of red patterned paper.
The best part is that I was left with two metallic strips that I was able to reuse on another project! See it gold side up and embossed with an embossing folder on THIS CARD.
