Looking through papers to find something that would work for a baby card, I found this old sheet of striped paper and liked how the soft colours could work well for a gender-neutral card. Then I remembered the Baby Tees jumbo wheel that I bought when it retired from the catalogue, planning on unmounting it using a cling sheet... which I never got around to it. I was racking my brain to think of a card I would have made with this wheel, but I'm fairly sure it had never been inked at all. What a shame! So I unmounted it and put it to good use, stamping it in Jet Black StazOn ink on watercolor paper and coloring the image with inks and a mix of Aqua Painter brushes (for larger areas) and blending pens (for smaller details). I also used the Clear Wink of Stella brush to watercolor the background, picking up a bit of Soft Sky ink with it. (A new tip I learned watching the Wink of Stella video from Stampin' Up! - you can use it to watercolor and the brush will add a touch of sparkle to your watercoloring. Brilliant!)
I found the "welcome baby" sentiment in the Little Additions stamp set and added it to a border cut out of another piece of patterned paper.
