This is a double-page layout that came together really quickly and I love the final result. I used papers from the Snow Fun collection by Simple Stories and they are so pretty! Love the mix of blue and green and the knitting patterns. I had a lot of 4 x 6 pictures to include so the pockets filled out quickly and I didn't have to embellish the page very heavily.
You'll notice the Feathers Framelits Dies used with Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to create white feathers to match the one my friend had on her headband (which got passed along from one guy to the others during the evening!).
During my stash cleaning, I also found a chipboard piece set from SU! that included a clipboard piece. It was perfect to add to one of my inserts so I embossed it with Pewter powder, then added a strip of polka paper on which I added a retired rub-on that reads, "You're invited" and then a piece of Lucky Limeade organza ribbon from a past SAB kit. I also noticed a lot of corduroy buttons and brads we used to carry were matching the colours in my papers, so I added a few throughout the layout.
