For this card, I used the Seas the Birthday stamp set and paired it with nautical papers from Authentique (Anchored collection). I was working with the Paper Crafts Crew Sketch #127 as inspiration and as I was playing with the pieces, I knocked the card and the sentiment block moved at an angle. I thought it made the card way more interesting and dynamic, so I decided I would keep it like that. I cut the ends with decorative scissors to get a pinked edge and tied Gold Metallic Baker's Twine around the piece, making the ends disheveled for added texture. The Wave CutUp die was used at the bottom of the paper and a piece of wave-patterned paper was glued underneath to create a two-tone edge.

Great layout and designer paper on your card. I love the red candle in the octopi arm. It just really pops. Thanks for the inspiration.
