I am really digging the new Stacked with Love Designer Series Paper Stack (Occasions catalogue, p. 5). The patterns are really easy to use and combine and if you've seen the stack in person, you might have notice that all the papers have one side that has black and white patterns only. Not all pages have patterns that pertain to love/Valentine's Day, so this is a stack that will be useful for many different projects. Here, I went for the obvious and made a love card. I embossed the ampersand from the You Plus Me stamp set in Black Stampin' Emboss powder, and I stamped the circle sentiment in Real Red ink, then punched it out with a Circle punch. I added a little heart punched out of Silver glimmer paper using the Owl punch.
The little row of hearts at the bottom was die-cut using a piece from the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Dies. Much easier than to try and space out individual hearts evenly! The border die punched out seven hearts, and I used the flip side of some of them to fill in the space on the card and get striped hearts (which is the reverse side of the black and white paper used on the card front).
