One of my favorite image from the Occasions Catalogue is the Love is Kindness stamp. There's something about it that really appeals to me - probably the newspaper wrapping or something. This week's Friday Mashup challenge (#193) is a floral theme, so it was a perfect opportunity to ink up this new stamp. It was also the perfect excuse to break out the Blendabilities markers as well.
The background was created using the Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Papers offered during Sale-A-Bration as a free product. I colored in some of the stripes using the Blendabilities markers. The sentiment comes from a second Sale-A-Bration freebie: the Simply Wonderful stamp set.
As for the design, it was inspired by a One-Sheet Wonder challenge issued on the Viva la Verve blog in December. I hadn't done a one-sheet wonder in forever and it was fun to rediscover this design principle to create four new cards. This is one of them, and the paper ised for the one-sheet wonder card pack came from the Birthday Bash Design Series Paper pack.
