I'm trying to use the last pieces of my Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' kit to finish it off. I thought the darker shades could work well with the images from the Christmas Lodge stamp set. It's funny, I hadn't originally ordered this stamp set when it first came out. It was my upline, that had mistakenly ordered the French version, that offered it to me. I ended up using it quite a lot and I still pull it out even though it's now retired. Same thing for the Christmas Cheer Simply Scrappin' kit – I initially wasn't too fond of its colors and design based on the images in the catalogue, but I ended up receiving the kit at a team event and what do you know, I made a bunch of projects with it and I'll end up using it to the very last bit. I am often surprised by sets or papers that I couldn't predict would become personal favorites.
The starting points to my card was the Paper Players challenge #224 and the picture of a sample in an older SU! catalogue. I made two lines of tic tac toe, by having 1) a tree, patterned paper and a star and 2) the tree, heat embossing and glitter.

This tree is so pretty--I still have mine too! Love the sentiment stamped over the image and the pop of blue is lovely! Thank you for joining us at The Paper Players!
