Today's sneak peek set is called What's Mew? There's something so adorable about it. I instantly loved the cat hiding in the foliage image - especially with the cute safari gear! I wanted to pair it with jungle-print papers and just as I was about to set out on an expedition to dig something out of my paper stash, I saw the patterned papers I had previously discarded when putting together the Life's a Beach card I shared earlier. The papers had the perfect colors and feel to them, so I decided to put them to good use! All I had to do to make them work for this new card was turned the seashell paper over and use the chevron background instead. What does not work on a project will often work perfectly on another one!
The tag on which I stamped the sentiment is also part of the new release. The CutUp die includes two different tags, and this is one of them. The die cuts the opening for the ribbon as well, so all I had to do was slide the seam binding in the opening and hold it in place with a cute In Color polka dot brad.
TIP: I find that the ribbon tends to bunch up when I slide the prongs of a brad through ribbon, so whenever I can, I prefer to take the prongs off with pliers and use adhesive (here, I used Stampin' Dimensionals that I had snipped to the right size) to glue it in place over the ribbon.
The arrow at the top of the left strip was also created using a new CutUp die. It includes six fun shapes (which I'll share on another card later this week) that are a great size to embellish cards.

Another fun card Cindy. I really like how you used the tag die for the sentiment.
