I made this card for my downline Johanne, who just celebrated her fifth birthday as a Stampin' Up! demonstrator. I have barely had time to play with my SAB supplies this year since I was in the middle of my move, but since the cute jeans image reads "Bravo, tu m'é-pattes!" (Congrats, you impress me!), it was perfect to use for this card.
To give the main panel texture, I die-cut an oval out of the canvas paper currently available in the Spring catalogue (which will end at the end of May, so get some while you can!) and stamped my main image on it. To get the distressed jeans look, I inked my image with my Bashful Blue marker and then thumped a Marina Mist marker over the jeans before stamping them.
The banner was stamped with the Oh, Hello stamp set. The card background was stamped with the Jeans background stamp, which is long retired, but was perfect to pair with the jeans image. The little dotted strip is also an oldie but goodie. Remember that Easter Egg kit we had a few years ago? This is one of the strips that was meant to go around the egg. I cut off the edges and used only the polka dot part on the card.
