This card was inspired by the October I {Heart} to Stamp sketch. I used some pieces of paper I had leftover after making a scrapbook page. You'll notice my beloved Vintage faceted buttons on the Night of Navy grosgrain ribbon and a little dab of Dazzling Details all around the side panels.
I've had those Nestabilities dies for a while but have trouble fitting images in them, as they are very narrow at the bottom and tend to chop part of my image off. I was pleased to be able to use them with this image.
For the card base, I dug into my cardstock stash and used Marigold Morning. Remember that color? It was part of the very first In Color palette SU! ever introduced. I still like this warm shade of golden yellow and was happy that it matched my patterned paper.
The sentiment comes from the Colis spécial hostess set from the annual catalogue.
