Doesn't this mitten just makes you smile? I don't remember where this color combo came from but I thought they would look nice on a winter card to cheer somebody up. I used the Nicely Knit wheel in matching colours to create the background and the cute rows from the Make a Mitten stamp set on each cardstock panel.
The main panel was die-cut using the new Window Frames Framelits (LOVE!) and embossed it with the Fan Fold embossing folder after embossing my sentiment (from the hostess set Wacky Wishes) in white powder. I used the matching piercing template (from the Festivities pack) and a white gel pen to add faux stitching all around the die-cut piece. I added scallop faux stitching at the bottom using another one of the piercing templates as well.
I colored the mitten with markers and used the punch to punch it out and add the punched "top" punched out of Lucky Limeade cardstock. I matted the mitten with a white Decorative Label and two turquoise brads. A piece of Rich Razzleberry stitched grosgrain ribbon and three Designer buttons topped with rhinestones finished the look.
