*featuring the retiring collection Vintage Attic (DSP and Rue des Fleurs stamp set), the fine glitter, the grosgrain ribbon, the pleated ribbon and the Poppy Parade color*
Mother's Day is coming up and I have already sold the couple of cards I had for the occasion at the office, so I have the feeling I might need a few more (including one for my own mom). Inspired by the iSpy sketch #13, I pulled out the Rue des Fleurs set and its matching Designer papers.
For the left oanel, I inked the edges with Soft Suede ink using a dauber and I layered three ribbons on the left edge: Daffodil Delight grosgrain ribbon, Pool Party ruffled ribbon and the Riding Hood Red pleated satin ribbon. At the top, I added a ruffled bow made out of Pool Party seam binding and decorated with a Vintage brad in the center.
The top right panel was a piece of Soft Suede DSP over which I layered a rose that was hand-cut from the flip side of the same paper. Using my two-way glue pen, I added Champagne fine glitter on the details of the rose. I added the same glitter around the matching die-cut I used for my sentiment block. On it, I stamped the fountain pen and a sentiment from the Delightful Dozen set, in Poppy Parade ink.
Remember, today's the last day to order supplies from the Occasions mini!
