Encre, papier, ciseaux: Bright Blooms

One of the perks from Leadership is that we received two exclusive upcoming sets. One of them is called Bright Blooms and it matches the beautiful bag we received at the event. I was really excited to put some ink on it when I came back home and so I created this fun, fast card using it. Although this set is not available for purchase just yet, the sentiment set I paired with it is: it's from Occasions, one of the stamp set you can get for FREE during Sale-a-Bration!

The color combo was inspired from the beautiful colors of the fabric used on our bag, except that the original combo used Real Red and I chose to go with Poppy Parade since it will be retiring soon and I want to use it as much as possible before it does. I like the modern feel those colours have together.

I was playing catch-up with old Mojo sketch and used #225. To break up the squares a bit, I layered punched circles on them and voluntarily added some of them off-center to make it more whimsical. The sentiment was embossed with white powder on Tempting Turquoise cardstock and I used a matching marker to color in the "Thanks."

I used the circles included in the set to create a polka dot background, and I added two 3/8'' brads on the sentiment panel. To decorate the envelope, I used some of the flower die-cuts that can be found in the Occasions mini. Easy-peasy and super pretty!
