This is another card submission that didn't make it. I will admit this was my favorite of the all of the cards I submitted for publication this year.
The cloud and raindrops come from the On Board chipboard pack from the 2011-2012 SU! catalogue and when I saw those pieces, I kept thinking of the song "Ain't No Sunshine When She's Gone." I used my computer and printer to create a sentiment along those lines and used my RGB reference code to match the printing to my cardstock colors. I rounded the corners and matted the tag with Calypso Coral cardstock, then added another piece of chipboard from the same pack, which was covered with Baja Breeze Craft ink (since we don't carry Pool Party in Craft) and clear-embossed. I punched a hole using the Crop-a-Dile and added white Baker's twine.
The Basic Grey background was embossed with the polka dot Texturz plate and I stamped an image from my unmounted In Stitches wheel on all four sides. The cloud and raindrops were covered with Whisper White ink and I added Iridescent Ice embossing on the raindrops and mounted them with Dimensionals on the card.
