This is another older card I hadn't published yet. The background and main image were created using the Ornate Blossom single stamp. It was stamped in Cherry Cobbler on the background cardstock, but I used the Poppin' Pastels to give it color and shading on the main image.
The Poppin' Pastels technique is simple: you stamp an image in Versamark and apply pastels to your image using daubers or a Q-tip applicator. What I like best about this technique is that you can then use darker shades to adding shading to your image. As you can see, the blossom looks totally different here than it would stamped in ink.
The sentiment comes from the Curly Cute set and was embossed in gold powder.
