A couple of weeks ago, my cousin mention that there's a candy store (La Fudgerie, in Quebec City) that does handmade fudge with all kind of funky flavors near my office. When I needed a hostess gift, I decided to check it out. Oh my goodness... They have little bites that you can taste when you get there and even though I was expecting it to taste good, I don't think I was expecting it to be THIS good! Wow... Of course, I couldn't hand it out like that, so I had to package it all cute and I used the beautiful Spice Cake suite to tie the boxes together (one with fudge and the other with chocolate-dipped nuts) and make a matching tag.
The tag was die-cut with the Two Tags die that we carry. I just got this one and I don't know why it took me so long. There's so many cute things that can be done with it. The big rickrack trim on it was die-cut with the Tasteful Trims out of fabric that had been previously glued onto cardstock before cutting. I added a couple of leaves on the package, one hand-stamped with the Holidays mini set Gently Falling and the other one die-cut out of a wooden sheet with the Leaves die and sponged with Pear Pizzazz ink. I wanted to add a small button on the tag, so I pulled out the Button Button set (have you noticed how it made it back to the big catalogue?).
