Aren't those leaves just scrumptious when they are gold-embossed on dark cardstock? This is the very first card I put together after receiving the convention sets and I felt I was off to a good start.
I rolled the Paisley Party wheel (coming in the Holidays mini) in Early Espresso ink and then rolled it on the now retired large twill ribbon, then added a few gold brads here and there. The Early Espresso background was embossed with the embossing folder from the Summer mini and I used a combination of punches (Scallop Oval, Large Oval, Two-step bird for the branches) and a Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware frame along with a word from the Fabulous Phrases set to create the sentiment block at the bottom.
Color Combo: Early Espresso + Cajun Craze + More Mustard + Rich Razzleberry
Stampin' Up! Supplies
Stamps: Paisley Prints, Paisley Party wheel, Fabulous Phrases
Cardstock: Early Espresso, Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Rich Razzleberry
Inks: Versamark, Early Espresso
Punches: Scallop Oval, Large Oval, Two-step bird, Small Oval
Accessories: Gold embossing powder, gold brads, Stampin' Dimensionals,
Vanilla Hodgepodge Hardware, twill, square lattice embossing folder
Hey, Cindy! Love the card!!! It's funny, when I first saw this set I didn't really like it. Now, after seeing so many cards done with it, I'm in *love*!
Oh, thanks for stopping by ny blog! I really appreciate the feedback!
