Inspiration : Sketch Mojo Monday #145
I was looking forward to sharing this card, because I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Plus, it gives me the chance to show you the fun new Newsprint Designer paper that will be coming out in the new catalogue this week! The paper pack includes dictionary definitions, newspaper print, numbers, music sheets... I know I will love using this paper! This is the first card I'm using this paper on and I immediately thought it would look really cool paired with the Puns from the Past set since the papers have a vintage feel.
I was looking for a fun French sentiment to pair with this set and I decided to computer-generate one myself (since this set is only available in English). I wrote, "To my favorite antique!" Needless to say, this card will be going out to someone who doesn't mind getting older...
It reminds me of my favorite quip on Gilmore Girls, when an old lady asks Michel, the inn's concierge, where she can find the best antiques and he answers, "At your house, I would assume."
