Encre, papier, ciseaux: Inkspirations Inspiration #18

I was inspired by the colours in the picture this week and drew the following color combo out of it: Melon Mambo + Bermuda Bay + Whisper White + Green Galore. I could definitely have done something with butterflies on it considering how many butterflies stamps and dies I have, but I was working on Valentine's Day projects when I prepared my challenge piece, hence the hearts instead. I still wanted the frilly and feminine look, though, so I pulled out the Bride DSP and the Eyelet Border punch and combined it with the rhinestones from the Eggcellent Egg kit to achieve that look.

Another idea I had was to use the Curly Label Movers & Shakers die and turn the resulting card upside down to create a pocket instead! The white heart you see peak through the curly Label window is stamped and embossed on the insert.

J'ai tiré ma combinaison de couleurs de la photo d'inspiration de cette semaine : Melon Mambo + Baie des Bermudes + Vert abondant + Murmure blanc. J'aurais pu aussi utiliser des papillons comme sur le couvre-lit puisque j'en ai plusieurs en étampes ou en découpes Big Shot, mais comme j'étais en mode St-Valentin quand j'ai préparé mon projet, j'ai plutôt choisi d'utiliser des coeurs. Par contre, je suis restée dans le thème féminin et mignon en utilisant les papiers Mariée et le poinçon de Bordure oeillet, de même qu'une ligne de pierres du Rhin tirées de l'ensemble Eggcellent Eggs.

Une autre idée à retenir : vous pouvez utiliser la découpe Big Shot Movers & Shakers Étiquette bouclée pour créer une pochette! En tournant la carte la tête en bas et en collant les côtés, vous avez ainsi une pochette avec une fenêtre permettant de voir ce que vous avez étampé sur votre encart. Une autre idée d'utilisation pour cette découpe!

Beautiful as always, Cindy - we are getting this die in Australia in a few weeks, so it's great to see another way to use it! Love the colours you chose, too.
