Encre, papier, ciseaux: Billet doux / Love Note

J'ai enfin un nouveau projet réalisé avec mes nouvelles acquisitions à partager avec vous. La carte ci-dessous a été étampée avec le jeu Love Bandit, que vous pouvez trouver dans le minicatalogue Occasions. Je l'ai combiné aux papiers Beaux contes et au jeu d'hôtesse Billet doux. Le design est tiré du sketch The Sweetest Thing #52 et pour reproduire l'idée de la bordure festonnée, j'ai choisie de poinçonner une série de coeurs avec le poinçon Coeur à coeur, puis de recouvrir la moitié de ces coeurs de Crystal Effects et de brillants roses.

Le feuillage de l'arbre a également été recouvert de brillants verts, à l'aide de poudre thermique. J'ai tout simplement étampé l'arbre deux fois : une fois en Pépite de chocolat sur du papier à motifs de même couleur, puis en Versamark sur du papier à motifs vert. J'ai versé de la poudre thermique sur le Versamark, l'ai fait fondre et j'ai ajouté les brillants. J'ai découpé le tout et je l'ai ajouté au haut de l'arbre. Les nuages en arrière-fond ont été créés en collant des cercles festonnés sur mon papier cartonné avant d'appliquer de l'encre Bleu timide et Bleu brillant à l'éponge. L'herbe a été découpée avec la Trousse de coupe (l'outil à lame rotative) et le petit raton a été étampé sur du papier cartonné Murmure blanc, embossé à la poudre claire, coloré avec un crayon-estompe, découpé et collé en place.

À la jonction de mes deux papiers à motifs, j'ai superposé un ruban de gros-grain Olive sur un ruban de gros-grain à double couture Rose rouge. Puis, des petits points de croix ont été ajoutés au fil de lin à la gauche de la carte.

J'ai utilisé une autre étampe du jeu Billet doux pour décorer l'intérieur de la carte. J'ai fait de même pour l'arrière de ma carte : j'ai utilisé un marqueur pour encrer seulement le contour du billet, puis j'ai ajouté une étampe du jeu Art & Design à l'intérieur pour créer ma signature.

Inspiration : Sketch The Sweetest Thing (SSSC52)

I finally have a new project made with my Leadership supplies to share with you. TodayM's card was stamped with the Love Bandit stamp set, available in the Ocasions minicatalogue. I paired it with the Tall Tales papers and the Admit It hostess set. The design was inspired by this week's Sweetest Thing sketch and instead of a scallop border, I used a row of punched hearts, and covered half of those hearts with Crystal Effects nd then pink glitter. I love how it turned out!

The tree leaves were also covered with glitter. I stamped the tree twice: once in Chocolate Chip on matching patterned paper to create the trunk, and then in Versamark on Olive patterned paper to create the leaves. I pourred Heat & Stick on the stamped image, melted it and added some green glitter. I hand cut the foliage and added it on top of the tree trunk. To create the clouds, I used punched Scallop circles as masks and sponged Bashful Blue and Brilliant Blue ink on my Whisper White cardstock. The hills were cut out with the rotating blade tool from the Cutting Kit and the racoon was stamped on Whisper White cardstock, clear-embossed, colored with a blending pen, cut out and glued on the patterned paper.

I added some stacked ribbons on the paper seam (Old Olive grosgrain on top of Rose Red double stitched ribbon), and some cross stitches with linen thread at the left of the card.

I used another stamp from the Admit It set to decorate the inside of my card. I used a ticket as well to create my signature on the back of the card: I simply inked the outside of the ticket with a Chocolate Chip marker, and then I stamped an image from the Art & Design set in the middle and signed my name.
