Okay, je l'avoue... Acheter un jeu pour une seule étampe n'est pas très raisonnable. C'est pourquoi ça m'a pris quatre mois avant de faire le grand saut. To You & Yours est un jeu qui m'a sauté aux yeux dès le premier feuilletage du catalogue cet été, assise avec les autres démos qui voyageaient avec moi autour d'une table. J'étais bien déçue qu'il ne soit pas traduit, car la petite chaumière est si adorable! Et depuis, je regarde les magnifiques projets que les gens ont partagé dans les galeries et sur les blogue et je bave d'envie.

Il y a deux semaines, j'avais 20 $ de marchandise en primes d'hôtesse. Devinez ce que j'ai choisi... C'est la beauté des cadeaux d'hôtesse : on peut se choisir des petites choses qu'on ne se payerait peut-être pas habituellement. N'oubliez pas que vous pouvez être vous aussi hôtesse sans accueillir d'atelier chez vous, en faisant partie d'un Club d'hôtesse. Vous pouvez communiquer avec moi pour en savoir plus.

Mais je m'égare. Les couleurs de cette carte ont été choisies à partir d'un ruban de American Crafts que j'avais dans mes choses. Joli combo, n'est-ce pas? J'aime bien le résultat.

Pour donner un petit look scintillant et enneigé à l'image, j'ai étampé la chaumière avec de l'encre Craft Presque marine et j'ai ensuite embossé l'image avec de la poudre Givre irisé. L'image a été découpée en ovale, et un contour Pépite de chocolat a été créé au Colluzle. J'ai utilisé le poinçon Fente horizontale pour insérer mon ruban et j'ai collé le tour sur un cercle Murmure blanc (un restant de carton de ma page d'hier!) et superposé sur un gros flocon découpé avec la Big Shot.

Le papier à motifs de fond vient de l'ensemble de papiers Design Zéphyr Baja et j'ai créé un effet de givre en frottant mon tampon Versamarksur les côtés du papier et en versant ensuite de la poudre à embosser blanche.

Okay, I'll confess... I've been lusting after this stamp set ever since the moment I laid eyes on it at Convention while looking at the new catalogue for the first time. Then, why did it take me so long to get it, will you ask? Because it is only available in English, so I was really only buying it for the oh-so-adorable house image. Well, last week, I caved: I had $20 of free hostess merchandise to choose for myself, so I went for it. I've been looking at projects made this stamp set on blogs and galleries and I just really wanted it.

The colors of this card were pulled off of a ribbon I had. I'm pretty happy with the results, I think they make a nice winter combo. Could probably work for a masculine card, too.

To create a sparkly, snowy look, I stamped the house in Craft Not Quite Navy ink and embossed it with some Iridescent Ice powder. The image was and I matted the oval in Chocolate Chip with the Coluzzle. I used the Horizontal Slot punch to slide my ribbon through and added the image on a white circle (leftover from my scrapbook page posted yesterday) and overlapped it over a big snowflake cut with the Big Shot.

The background paper (from the DSP Baja Breeze Designer pack) was given a frosted look by rubbing my Versamark pad on the sides of the paper and embossed with white powder.

Woweeee! I'm appreciating the details on your cards so much more since your light tent came into your life. I'm debating about whether or not I want to use my GR for a checque to buy Serif Essentials or a light tent...hmm. I think this card is gorgeous, Miss Major. You got talent coming out the wazoo, my friend.
