Well Cindy, I don't think you could have made it look any more beautiful than you did! WOW! You make me want that paper LOL! Love the fringe, the pearls and that fabulous layered flower. Awesome job!

catherine martinez

What a fun challenge and you guys just both ROCK this challenge. You guys turned ugly PP to a gorgeous card :)

Brandi Wiggins

Ugly paper turned beautiful! Challenge definitely met! It's funny how you both used big flowers on your cards. I do have to say that your paper was uglier! Pink AND flowered! YEESH! Well done!

LOL....your story was so funny!
After all is said and done, you did a great job and your card is very pretty!

Connie Carswell

Would you believe that this looks better than some of the cards that I make? For an "ugly" challenge, you sure put some of my work to shame!!

Debbie Stelton

Ok you two come on these cards are not UGLY they are what we now call RETRO. I think both of your cards ROCK!!!
I must admit though I can relate to the whole paper hoarding thing. The hardest part is hiding it from my dh..lol.
Great job on this challenge and I think I must declare this a draw you are both winners. TFS.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder... Although I love florals, there's something about this paper that's not quite right so I can see why you'd use it for your challenge. However, if I'd seen your card before I read about the challenge, I wouldn't be thinking this at all. It looks very pretty on your card with the buttons and pearls. You've worked wonders! What a fun challenge! I saw Laura's card, too, and I must say--you both did a fabulous job!

I think your paper is GORGEOUS Cindy! To each their own I guess!! And the card is adorable!!
