Cette carte est un ancien projet de Club que je voulais partager avec vous. C'est une carte à bascule : le bateau vogue au gré des flots quand on incline la carte. Vous pouvez trouver le tutoriel de cette technique sur Splitcoast Stampers, sous « Tilt Card».

 

Song stuck in your head yet?

This card was a project we made at one of my previous Club meetings. It is a tilt card - the boat shifts from side to side when you tilt the card. If you would like to try one of those cards, you can find the tutorial for them on Splitcoast Stampers HERE.

 

 

 

Les nuages ont été faits en créant un masque en forme de nuage dans du carton (les cartons qui se trouvent à l'arrière des paquets de papier à motifs font bien l'affaire) et en encrant le ciel à l'éponge autour du masque à quelques reprises. Quant au soleil, il fait partie du jeu Life's a Breeze et il est juste de la bonne grosseur pour être poinçonné avec le poinçon Boho Blossoms! J'adore quand SU! nous gâte ainsi...

En passant, vous reconnaîtrez peut-être les couleurs qui ont inspirées ma carte faite pour le challenge de Beate ce weekend (avec un ajout de Rouge capulet).

 

The clouds were done with a cloud mask I made out of thick cardstock (like the one included at the back of the paper packs) by sponging ink a few times around the mask to create the skyline. As for the sun, it is part of the Life's a Breeze set and, what do you know, it fits perfectly into the Boho Blossoms punch! I love when SU! makes life easy for us like that...

BTW, you might recognize the colours that inspired my card for Beate's challenge last weekend (with the addition of Riding Hood Red and substitution of Soft Sky for Baja Breeze).

This was hard for old people like me to read with the coloured print. I spent 5 mins trying to figure out what it said, then realized I was reading the French version LOL! Just kidding! I'm thankful that you take the time to include English (even if I do have to adjust my monitor to read it!)
