Far West Collage / Collage Far West

J'ai laissé Noël de côté un peu et je me suis attaquée à une carte masculine, question d'en avoir au moins une sous la main pour le prochain anniversaire.

J'ai sorti les papiers à motifs sans suite de la collection Hors-la-loi, que j'aimais beaucoup mais qui ne sont pas restés dans le catalogue très longtemps, à mon grand désarroi. Je l'ai combiné avec un autre de mes jeux favoris, Cowboy Kid. Afin de créer un look usé, j'ai joué avec mon outil pour abîmer le papier, mes éponges et de l'encre, mes blocs à poncer et du matériel qui fait un peu cowboy (attaches de métal, ficelle de chanvre, étoiles). J'ai aussi créé un look bandana dans l'arrière-fond avec l'étampe de paisley et mon crayon gel blanc.

Je suis bien contente du résultat, particulierement de la petite pancarte Howdy faite avec un morceau de carton gris (un autre des morceaux que j'avais laissé traîné sur mon bureau pour me fournir de l'inspiration).

I gave Christmas a break and decided to make a masculine card for a change, to have one on hand for the next birthday.

I used my beloved Outlaw papers (which left the catalogue way too quickly) and combined them with the Cowboy Kid kit. I created a worn look using ink and sponges, sanding blocks, the tool to wear paper edges and some cowboy=themed accents like twine, metal accents and stars. I also created a bandana look in the background with the paisleys stamp and my white gel pen.

I'm pretty happy with how it turned out, especially the little Howdy panel, madewith chipboard and covered with patterned paper.
