Here is my first tutorial for you guys! I will show you how to make faux buttons, as I've used one on my Convention swap.

Matériel : Carton, Versamark ou Versamarker, poudre à embosser transparente, poinçon à main 1/16 po. poinçon Cercle 1/2 po, adhésif temporaire, fer à embosser

Supplies: Cardstock, Versamark or Versamarker, clear embossing powder, handheld punch, 1/2-in. Circle punch, Dotto, heat gun

Poinçonnez deux trous avec le poinçon à main 1/16 po.

Punch two holes with the handheld punch, side by side.

Tournez le poinçon Cercle 1/2 po à l'envers pour voir votre carton et placez les deux petits trous au centre de votre cercle, puis poinçonnez.

Working with the 1/2-in. Circle punch upside down, place the two small holes in the middle of your circle and then punch out.

Encrez le faux bouton avec du Versamark, soit en utilisant le Versamarker ou encore en déponsant le bouton directement sur le tampon Versamark.

Ink your faux button with Versamark, using either the Versamarker or by pressing down the button on the surface of your ink pad.

Placez de l'adhésif temporaire sur un papier brouillon (dans l'exemple, du Dotto). Cela vous permettra de tenir le bouton en place lorsque vous verserez de la poudre dessus ou que vous le ferez chauffer. Cela vous évitera de vous brûler les doigts ou de devoir utiliser une pince et risquer de laisser une marque dans la poudre à embosser

Put temporary adhesive (Dotto shown in example) on a scrap of paper. This will allow you to glue the button down in place while you're covering it with embossing powder or melting the powder with the heat gun. This will prevent you from burning your fingers or from having to use tweezers and making a mark in the embossing powder.

Versez de la poudre à embosser transparente sur votre bouton et transvidez l'excédent de poudre dans son contenant.

Pour clear embossing powder on the button, and put the excess back into its container.

Utilisez un fer à embosser pour faire fondre la poudre. Au besoin, ajoutez une deuxiême couche de poudre si vous désirez obtenir un bouton plus lustré.

Use a heat gun to melt the powder. If required, add a second coat of embossing powder to make the button shinier.
