I was in the mood to make cute packages, so I decided to make a few Valentine treats for the office. I kept it simple, with only three bags for my close team. When looking at my bag options, I found those cute heart-print bags Stampin' Up! sold for a split second a few years ago. It was a simple kit including the bags, Pool Party Baker's Twine and little striped Pool Party banners. You'll notice those banners on my project, where I used two together, on each side of my sentiment.
To close the bags, I punched two hearts and threaded 1/8" Gold Ribbon, tied in a bow. I try whenever possible to make closures on my packaging that can be opened and reclosed without damaging the box or bag because I've heard some people mention "it's too cute to tear apart to get to the content" so I design the packages so they can be opened and closed again without anyone being the wiser!
The little clips I found in my ornaments and the colours happened to fit perfectly, so I added them despite the fact that the ribbon was already keeping the bags closed.
The circle underneath the sentiment is die-cut out of Crumb Cake cardstock, but I made it shimmery using the Gold Wink of Stella Brush. I also used a red Sharpie marker to color some rhinestones for the sentiment block.
