Who knew I could make simple cards... Although it's not my usual style, I do like to pop one out once in a while. Today's card was inspired by the CAS(E) This Sketch challenge #58.
The striped pennant and polka dot border are part of the Perfect Pennants stamp set and I stamped them three times in Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler and Blushing Bride at various lengths, then I "hung" my sentiment pennant from the top border. The sentiment pennant, also from the same stamp set, was stamped and embossed with Cherry Cobbler Stampin' Emboss powder, then die-cut with the matching Banners Framelits dies. (I know those of you who love matching stamp set and dies just squealed a little bit here.)
The card background is a piece of patterned paper that comes from the Polka Dot Parade DSP pack, a great basic for your paper craft projects. A pierced border was added to the outside of the main panel for additional detail.
