I saw a scrapbooking tutorial somewhere online showing how to make your own chevron pattern using little paper rectangles and I thought it was an awesome way to use paper scraps! I first gave it a try using some leftover pieces from an old Simply Scrappin' kit, but then I thought it would make a great project for my technique class and remade the card using some current products. I am showing you how both versions turned out.
The paper is from the Twitterpated collection. The ribbon is Baja Breeze seam binding and the buttons come from the Neutrals Designer button pack and Vintage Faceted Buttons. The sentiment, which comes from the From My Heart stamp set, was colored with markers and die-cut with a Framelits from the Apothecary Accents set. The card background was stamped with the Confetti set and the border was created using the Large Scallops Edgelits and the Delicate Designs folder.
