The inspiration behind this card was the new felt ornaments we have in the Holidays mini. I thought I would simply use a longer sentiment (from the More Merry Messages set) to pair with it so that the focus would remain on the felt accent.
The card background was stamped with the Star Tree stamp. I then layered a piece of Gumball Green Core'dinations cardstock that was embossed with the Lacy Brocade embossing folder, sanded and die-cut with the Window Frames Framelits. I created a border out of Shimmery White cardstock, embossed with the Delicate Details embossing folder.
The sentiment was stamped in Versamark on Midnight Muse cardstock and embossed with Gumball Green embossing powder. I love how the colored embossing powder pops on dark cardstock! I then created a frame out of Silver glimmer paper using two dies from the Tags Collection Framelits and I added a pierced frame all the way around using the piercing template. I faux stitched the piercing using the white gel pen and added rhinestones in the corners. Then, I created two tabs with Cherry Cobbler polka dot ribbon and white taffeta ribbon (a great way to use small ribbon scraps, BTW) and I glued the felt ornament in place using liquid Tombow glue.

Gorgeous card!! Love that sentiment in the embossed green! The felty ornament and rhinestone bling are fabby too!
