Purples!! This is one shade that I barely ever use. Except for Rich Razzleberry, which is close enough to a deep burgundy shade for me to love it. The color combo I used was taken from from patterned papers from the current catalogue (which I don't own but really should!) and the stamp set I selected was in great part inspired by Kirsty, who always produces the most amazing creations with her Petal Pizzazz set. Mine, whoever, has only been inked once - that's right, once!! - since being won at a team convention almost a year ago. It was high time to remedy that situation, so here is the card that came out of it.
The design was based on this week's Sweetest Thing sketch and the idea to use part of a frame from the Vintage Labels set (SAB) came from a paper scrap I had on my desk! I had punched the centre out to make the pink flower card I shared earlier this week and was inspired to use the outside on my flower to make it more interesting. I think it's a little detail that packs a lot of punch!
(Sorry, the colors are not the best - I've been trying everything on my photo editing software and can't get true colours any way I try...)
Color Combo: Old Olive + Rich Razzleberry + Lavendar Lace + Opulent Orchid
