Another great inspiration pick from Makeesha this week! I loved the shades of pink and oranges together and the peek of brown at the table. The undistinctive shapes of the painting also reminded me of the new Designer papers from the SU! catalogue, so I pulled those out and made a page with some of the new In Colours. The colours I pulled from the inspiration piece were Mambo Melon + Pumpkin Pie + Soft Suede.
The picture shows my family from B.C. (my cousin, her husband and their kids). Since we live on opposite coasts, we don't get to see each other all that often. They sent me this pic with their Christmas card and it was nice to see how big the "kids" have gotten!
I love handwriting my journaling on my pages, so needless to say, I am beyond delighted that we finally have the In Colours available in markers!!!

Un autre choix très inspirant cette semaine! J'aimais beaucoup la combinaison de rose et de orange ensemble avec les tons plus foncés de la table, alors j'ai choisi de combiner Melon Mambo, Tarte au potiron et Doux suède ensemble. Les motifs indisctincts de la toile m'ont également rappelé les nouveaux papiers Limonade fraise pressée alors je les ai sortis pour ma page.
La photo présente ma famille qui habite en Colombie-Britannique (ma cousine, son mari leurs deux enfants). Comme nous habitons si loin, on ne se voit pas souvent - la dernière fois que nous sommes allées les visiter, Dean avait quatre ans et Sarah n'était pas encore née! Ils m'ont envoyé leur photo avec leur carte de Noël et c'était bien plaisant de voir à quel points les "enfants" ont grandi!
Inutile de vous dire que comme j'adore écrire à la main sur mes pages, je suis très énervée d'avoir les En couleur offertes en marqueurs cette année!
